The pages creak, the lighting flickers,
and in the deep, old wisdom bickers.
It wants to be loose, wants to run free,
for it cannot choose, just happens to be.

Treat it with care and try not to bend,
lay the words bare and read ‚till the end.
It won’t be in vain, please let the words enter,
because without chain they can be a mentor.

So read all you can and cherish the thought,
that since you began you learned quite a lot.
There really is no single book,
that wasn’t worth the look you took.
